90s COMEBACK

Fashions tend to slowly fade, then suddenly pop back again. Wearing high-waisted trousers would have been deemed as a disaster in 2009 yet here we are today wearing our mum's old pair of Levi's. But one of the things I love about these reoccurring fashions is that most of the time they come with a twist. Probably my biggest 90s fashion icon would be based on Clueless,
my ultimate favourite movie of the decade *bounces up and down like a crazy fan*. Wildfox have pretty much replicated the style but unnecessarily made the clothes way too costy. I guess I could always sell a kidney to buy a collection of designer clothes but hey ho let's not get too determined. TIP: you can either buy my love with clothes or concert tickets.

What I don't like about Wildfox is that the vibe just isn't there. I don't think I'm making any sense so allow me to explain. You can easily just buy something off the internet and claim to be a 90s bitch but there is a big difference to rummaging around in a vintage shop and feeling proud of your discovery. It's kind of like a treasure hunt; you know where to look but you have no idea what marvellous bits and bobs you could find.

The Fresh Prince
As odd as it may seem, I absolutely adore the clothes they wore on the show. From the multi coloured shirts  to Will's very own school blazer, I was and still am in love. And I can't forget to mention the turtleneck crop top. Of all the clothes ever created, this is by
far genius. Normal turtleneck tops = eww, but crop top turtleneck = the best thing ever. I don't know what it is about them but I am so baffled that something hideous could turn into something glorious just by grabbing a pair of scissors and cutting a few inches off them.

If you haven't gathered already, I am in love with Will and everything he does.

On the other hand, I've had a tiring week revising for exams :( so here's a picture of a sloth to cheer you & I up. Thank you so much if you got to the end of my post x
